FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Got questions? We have answers! We want to make your experience with us one you will never forget as you join us to worship our good God. See below for common questions, and let us know if we can help with anything else!

  • Where do I park?
From the time you drive onto the parking lot, you will find that our members want your experience to be a joyful one. We have convenient, reserved parking spaces located near the front entrance for our first-time guests. Valet parking is also available by pulling under the very first portico you see. Our valet team will be waiting outside, ready to assist your family.
  • How will I find my way around your campus?
While there are plenty of signs that can help you find your way, the best option is to stop by the Welcome Center at our main (first) entrance. Our volunteer team can be found at the entry doors or inside at the welcome desk and would love to walk with you to make sure you find your way.
  • Where do my children go on Sunday?
During Sunday Morning Worship Service for Children (Ages 0-2nd grade): Every Sunday, we have loving church members who give their time to stay with your child while you enjoy the Worship Service at 8:30am or 10:30am. These volunteers remain with your child during the worship hour to care for them, play, and share the gospel. Our Sprouts division hosts ages 0-3, and our Children’s Chapel hosts ages 4-2nd grade. During Sunday School: Our Sprouts and KIDZ412 Children’s Ministries are designed to provide a safe, secure, and loving place for your children while you enjoy your 9:30am Sunday School class. At the main entrance, a greeter can help you find the age-appropriate class for your child. Our teachers strive to teach preschoolers and children about Jesus while incorporating fun games and crafts into the lessons. During Sunday Evening Worship Service for Children (Ages 0-5): Our volunteers remain with your child during the worship hour to care for them, play, and share the gospel. Our Sprouts division hosts ages 0-3, and our Children’s Chapel hosts ages 4-5. We invite those age six and above to join you in our sanctuary for our evening worship service.
  • What are your worship services like?
Both of our Sunday morning worship services (8:30am and 10:30am) are exactly the same; we simply offer two times for you to choose what works best for you. Our ensemble, choir, and orchestra lead the congregation through uplifting praise and worship music. You will also be encouraged by our family of believers and hear a bold, biblical message from our pastor, Dr. Roger Copeland. Our evening service begins at 6pm and is filled with our family being led by our worship leader in more spirit-filled music and another message by Dr. Copeland.
  • What do I wear?
At Northern Hills Baptist Church, we want you to feel comfortable and come as you are. God sees our heart, which is what He cares about; it is not about the style of clothing we choose. You will mostly find business-casual attire throughout our congregation, along with the occasional three-piece suit as well as jeans and a polo-type shirt.
  • Who is your pastor?
Northern Hills Baptist Church is led by Dr. Roger Copeland. Every Sunday and Wednesday, he preaches a bold, practical message directly from God’s Word live in the sanctuary and streamed live on our Facebook page. Copeland was led to Northern Hills Baptist Church by the Lord in 2003.
  • What are your key beliefs?
Northern Hills Baptist Church is a church firmly built on the inerrancy of God’s Word. We believe in the personal triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in divine perfection. We believe the death of Jesus Christ was substitutionary for all mankind, that His body was resurrected and ascended, and He will return. We believe that sinners are saved wholly by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and all who trust Jesus Christ for salvation are eternally secure in Him and shall not perish. You can read a detailed account of everything we believe regarding key issues of the Christian faith HERE.
